China Grove "Cafe Grace"

Our theme comes from John 17:20b-21, "I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me." (NIV)

Café Grace is an effort to bring China Grove ELCA congregations closer to one another and increase our Lutheran witness in the area. The other congregations are Ebenezer, Lutheran Chapel, Prince of Peace, and St. Mark's of China Grove.

From your Stewardship Committee

"Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received." (1 Peter 4:10)
"And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work." (2 Corinthians 9:8)

From Your Social Ministry Committee:

Thanks to everyone who contributes to our monthly offerings in Sunday School and worship throughout the year since we have requests for help year round.

NOISY SUNDAY
We are grateful to all those who participate in our "Noisy Sunday" collections. The children very much enjoy their part in the service and your offerings make a witness and a difference in people's lives. So far our offerings have gone to Relay for Life (cancer), Godstock (assistance for families with very sick children), and Victory Junction Camp (a camping program for children who are chronically or critically ill), Levine Children's Hospital (Children's Miracle Network), American Heart Association.
We have the collection on the third Sunday of each month.

The American Red Cross Blood Drive
Our next blood drive will be on Sunday, February 18, 2018. Please plan to participate if you are able to give blood. The need is great in the summer with many donors traveling and the increased need that sometimes happens due to more outdoor activity.
